June 28, 200422 yr No one, and I mean NO ONE is out of this race. This is going down to the wire. Realistically, I think there are only 2 teams to challenge - us and the Phillies - but I think the Mets are a dark horse. If they can put together some consistent pitching, they will be good.

Baseball fan: Gammons is a part of a dirty game. A player/coach/manager/agent/GM uses him to create interest, Gammons uses them for more info. It's hard to tell what he's tellign is the truth or not. Marlins fan: The man is an idiot. He doesn't know a thing about the Marlins (such as Juan Pierre bats lefthanded) and he rarely gives the team any respect. That a lot of Marlins fans also like the Yankees or hate the amount of press the Yankees and Sox receive might also have something to do with it. :plain

June 28, 200422 yr Philly message board are the most whining fans you will ever find. I really fear what will happen to them when Admin Bowa is gone because they will have no life after he's gone. THe PHils are far from done. THis is a huge week until the break. The Fish have a few games that they have to win and easily could win with some of the teams and The Phils are home until the break which has been their biggest problem, once they found a groove they could never take it either home or on the road. If they find it at home it's going to be a dog fight till the break.
June 28, 200422 yr there is noway the phillies and mets are throwing in the towell they have to good a team...the mets are starting to get it toghther they scare me more than the phillies do but if the phillies dump Bowa watch out cause that the problem to that team,as soon as a new coach comes in the phillies would win the division...
