We dont need a bat

Stockpiling talent at certain positions is nice, but if you don't need someone (Stokes) and you can get someone valuable for him, you should pull the trigger. Stokes might not be that great anyways. His OBP last season was .312. He had 135 K's to just 36 walks. If he strikes out a lot, has no speed, and doesn't get walks, how is he going to get on base in the big leagues? He's a defensive liability no matter where you put him. He's also developed some wrist problems. Choi is young, cheap, and talented. Also, if he doesn't pan out like we want him to, first base is not exactly a hard position to find a good player. If we have to include Stokes to get a key contributor to this year's team, I'm all for it.
