since the stadium deal isn't officially but basically 95% chance of being done, is that clause in Mike Lowell's contact voided???

The clause in the contract comes to term in november.

I'd love to see a copy of his contract, especially the section that outlines exactly what does/does not constitute the Marlins "getting a new stadium" (which is the only verbage I've heard used by either side publicly.)

 

I'm guessing that the language is very vague legally in order to leave alot of room to manuever when/if it's needed. In the end it also wouldn't surprise me if it amounts to nothing legally and was inserted only for the PR benefit of the Fish.

Mike will stay anyways.
