Next UP: Mets, Phillies, Expos

Anybody noticing how the Mets and especially the Phillies are playing at home recently?

So far this month we are averaging 2-3 runs per game (with the occasional outburst of offense) and the Mets are avging 5-6, while the Philly sandwiches are averaging 4-5 runs per game in July.....

If the Mets or Phillies put up more than 3 runs in a game, chances we are dead in the water(no pun intended).

So my question to the forum? Where will be after this homestand? Our success has typically been against our own division, but with our holes on offense and pitching and our division playing good ball. Will this week tell the tale of our woes or get the FO's attention to get us some much needed pieces?

We need to win 2 out of 3(at least) from Mets, same for Expos and cross our fingers and toes when we go into Philly. Our dominance over Philly in April was mere luck, in my opinion. They were playing terribly and we had our A-game.

We only play two games with the Mets in the next 14 games.

The next 14:

2 @ Mets

2 @ Phillie

3 @ Montreal

4 v Phillie (Home)

3 v Montreal (Home)
