EDIT TOPIC TITLE: Cards to be 2004 NL Champions?

As far as they are playing I believe they will. They got great hitters and the team seems to be in the web gems every day. I believe they got a very big chance of being NL Champs.

wow they do haver like a 7 game lead

really going out on a limb there

Actually, it's a 10 game lead.

And the Cardinals are looking pretty much unstoppable right now, so I would have to think they are the obvious favorite to win the NL Pennant.

still plenty of baseball to be played, trades to be made, injuries to occur, and postseason upsets to occur.

Morris needs to step it up because in the playoffs, pitching is more important than offense...

I would have to say thats true because the Marlins did it with the help of Brad Penny and Josh Beckett last year. I just hope Josh comes off the DL with those blister problems soon.

I still believe in the Brewers.

No,but seriously if they had another good bat or two they could be legit wildcard contenders.
