Big Bob signs with Raiders

Featured Replies

Guaranteed 18-19 million.

The Raiders made a smart smart move in a drafting Robert Gallery 2nd. Left tackle is such an important position and they drafted a very dominant OL who will give them a long and prosperous career.

Gallery is so dominan that its surprising SD didn't draft him first overall... especially since SD's O-Line is beyond pathetic. And as much as they run LT and throw him the screen pass and with the athletic abiliity of Gallery, Gallery would have been a perfect fit in SD. Also, he could have joined San Diego's new stud kicker, Nate Kaeding! :D

Anyway, Congrats to Big Bob. Oakland fans are gonna love him.

Tony Mandarich?

You never know.

Yea I do. I've been watching him for years. The guy is unreal. The most dominating OL in college football I've ever seen. No way he is a bust.

Eric Steinbach, Bruce Nelson and Ben Sobieski.. all are Hawkeye offensive lineman and all of whom were drafted in the '03 draft... and he is heads and shoulders above them.

Compared to the college QB bust rate, Gallery is a about as sure of a pick as anyone.
