This team almost cant function without a sense of urgency and that is where they are now. We have the rest of the league right where we want them - counting us out. I think the Braves got hot and they will be in this the rest of the season trade or no. Phillies will be tough on the rest of the league - but we own them. As for us, we are starting to get good pitching performances and key hits. Choi's homerun. Conine's homerun the other day. "It's uncanny how they get two out hits." That was Admin Bowa. This weekend's series will be more telling than the Phillies series. If there is any heart left on this team, they will make the Expos pay for the whooping they got this past weekend.

If they keep things up against Montreal, then I'll be convinced, but what I'm seeing against Philly doesn't surprise me.
July 29, 200422 yr pierre, castillo will be huge in the second half. i cant see lowell going in to a 2nd half slump like past years. hopefully choi produces like we know he can. and conine stays hot till seasons end. cabs just needs to make contact. redmond and gonzo, well......... all this pending on what moves we make :marlins
