August 3, 200422 yr this doesent mean much but i find it interesting....Mota is a former shortstop and here are his number hitting in the majors... 24 ab's....3 r's....5 h's....2 hr's....5 rbi's.... .208 avg Not bad at all especially considering hes a relief pitcher...2 hr's in 24 ab's
August 3, 200422 yr looking at his rookie league and class A stats, he wasn't a terrible hitter. since he's a reliever, being able to hit doesnt really mean much, although he might get a few ABs this year considering jack's managing style with the pen.
