Is there a reason?

The fish need to take off and get well over .500, or this season's will be labeled a disapointment.

No doubt this season has been a huge disappointment so far. This team has underperformed badly. Sure, we have had some untimely injuries to deal with, but so have the Cubs, Braves, etc., etc.

We all expected to have a good shot at winning the division, and most would have expected us to finish with more than 90 wins.

The difference is this team has not shown the resiliency to break out of the slump, and allowed it to go on for 2 1/2 months.

Is it just the players who are responsible, or is it due to poor coaching? Or can it be explained another way?

Right now they are doing all they can to salvage the season, and they have a long way to go. The division seems to be lost, but we still have the wild card in sight. So let's hope we see a few nice winning streaks to give us a chance.
