August 10, 200422 yr Joe NAthan isnt even the Cy Young ptcher on his own team, Johan Santana is a much better candidate for Cy Young than Joe Nathan 159.0 IP 183Ks 11 Wins?? 3.34 Era 0.99 WHIP Since June 9th he has had 12 starts and he has had 10ks or more in 9 of them This guy is a special talent and I hope he can stay with the Twins most of his career before the Yanks or Blow Sox get a hold of him 503882 And to think the Marlins traded him. We could of really use Johan :banghead 504085 He never pitched a game in the Marlins Organization... Plus you would have had to keep the 21 year old santana on your roster all season in 2000, the guy with the ERA over 6, or send him back to the Astros as a rule V draft pick. A deal was likely struck before the draft that the Fish would pick Santana and immediately ship him to Minny for a player, and more cash than was required to draft Santana. 504121 Exactly
