I got an email from floridamarlins.com and this is what it says:

When Paul Lo Duca first joined the Marlins after being

acquired from the Dodgers, team owner Jeffrey Loria made

it clear he wants the All-Star catcher to remain in South

Florida for a while.

 

"He said he is not considering this a two-month rental,"

Lo Duca said of his initial conversation with the Marlins

owner. "This is my first option and not a casual stop

along the way."

if he doesn't stay along with Pavano, I'll be very pissed at the trade.
