Same as yesterday, except Conine gets a day off.

1 Juan Pierre, CF

2 Paul Lo Duca, C

3 Miguel Cabrera, LF

4 Mike Lowell, 3B

5 Damion Easley, 1B

6 Juan Encarnacion, RF

7 Luis Castillo, 2B

8 Alex Gonzalez, SS

9 Carl Pavano, P

that's what it should look like. :thumbup

You still change the dynamic of the lineup by subbing Conine for Easley.

I dont get it. We have an off day tomorrow - why sit Conine today? Especially after hitting a home run yesterday.

I was about to slam Tinker Jack for benching Conine when Boog (radio 3:40 p.m.) said Jeff was a late scratch due to that lower back stiffness (again.)

Hopefully the 2 days off will improve his condition.

That explains why the lineups came out so late.

I like the lineup. I think it's going to work out.

I smell a marlins win.
