August 31, 200422 yr ..and a lot of people didn't want him on the roster a while back. 534406[/snapback] Consider for most of the season he was not hitting, and wasting roster space for guys with better talent and the ability to play defense. 534492[/snapback] thats not the point ... the point is that when players are going through a slump or get off to a bad start they freaking blow the big one but once they go 2 for 3 with 2 RBIS they are the best player in the team and should replace whoever went 0-4 the night before there is a reason this guy has been in the majors for so long ... its proven talent, even if they cant do something (ex defense, play everyday) ... its their job
