August 31, 200421 yr over on realgm.com the users from the heat and hornets boards have generally agreed that this is a trade that would benefit both teams. if only we could get in direct contact with riles... EJ + Haslem for Wesley + Brown + Lynch This trade would b great 4 miami because we got an enforcer to guard the other team's best big man(wallace, jermaine, webber, garnett, etc) so shaq doesn't get in foul trouble. wesley can shoot from the outside and can also handle playin some point(remember he did play PG a lil bit in the hornets series). lynch is a defensive SF who complements rasual. the downside is that our perimeter defense probably goes down(wesley is about 6'1"). For NO, they want a bigger SG to go with davis. davis is already known as a good defender and pair him up with EJ and u got one of the best defensive backcourts in the NBA. The reason they trade PJ is because they want West to get more PT so he could shine. Haslem will back up West and provide them with energy off the bench. Linups after trade: MIA Wade / DJones Wesley / Person Rasual / Lynch / Freije Brown / Allen / Beasley Shaq / Doleac NO Davis / Armstrong EJ / Smith Mashburn / Rogers West / Haslem Magloire / ????
