At the Marlins' Jupiter spring training facility, which they share with the St. Louis Cardinals, the news wasn't as good. Winds knocked down several Roger Dean Stadium light towers. Wednesday, Florida State League officials canceled what remained of the season, which was to culminate Sunday.

Roger Dean is a beautiful park. Hope its ready for spring training.

hope we get to see some pics.

hopefully it gets fixed by spring training, thats a shame..

If the only damage were some light towers, it will definitely be fixed before ST.

i saw a dude with a hammerheads cap on today at sawgrass mills.

The Cardinals clubhouse at the complex was also destroyed. I don't think that could be repaired in time.

7 out of 8 out light towers were knocked down.

$1,000,000 in damge at roger dean and 6-7 Million at the mets spring training home.

:( Sad news. I go to Roger Dean often to see Hammerheads games, and I was there last Monday night when they played the Palm Beach Cardinals. It's a beautiful little ballpark in a great neighborhood. I hope they can get it fixed and looking the way it was come Spring Training next year, but with sturdier light towers.
