September 8, 200421 yr In light of the TB/NYY rain out espn has put on Balt/Minn and Bedard pitching, the same Bedard that you all seem to love out there.
September 8, 200421 yr Bedard is awesome, but he's had to play under Wiley for too long to have a good season. Hopefully, Ray Miller gets him straightened up for next year.
September 8, 200421 yr He's got the talent. I'm getting ESPN News (woo ingame highlights) and O's on local cable.

Take him out of Camden Yards and way from Orioles management and he'll be fine.

Ray Miller is an awesome pitching coach. Bedard will have a solid year next year.
September 9, 200421 yr Someone explain what makes him a future star, Ive seen him pitch a few times, he can't find the plate, his delivery makes it look like hes throwing harder than he does, not much movement, and bad numbers, I don't see what makes him a future star, Johan Santana, Scott Kazmir, and Oliver Perez, future stars, Bedard, wait a bit at least.
September 9, 200421 yr He has good pitches and had the best command of the O's pitching prospects before injuries. Sorry, my fellow Orioles follower, but the much heralded rebuilding of the minor league organization, scouting and coaching staffs has just ruined arms and halting talented hitters from reaching their full potential. Any rise in the minor league system has more to do with high draft picks than the 'Oriole way'.
September 9, 200421 yr somebody gimme berdards run down (pitches, top speed, etc) 548464[/snapback] From what I saw tonight Fastball Breakingball Cutter Splitter 91-93 mph
September 9, 200421 yr The o's have more young pitching talent behind Bedard: John Maine, Adam Loewen, Daniel Cabrera, Dave Crouthers, Chris Ray, Brian Finch, and other stuff. They'll have better pitching in a few years now that Wiley is gone.
