October 13, 200422 yr They were on Hip Hop Honors BREAKING IT DOWN! I was like, "WHAT!? Is this 1989 all over again!? These guys can STILL get down!" These guys seriously need to do a new album. Chuck D is the freaking man and is truly what I would call THE VOICE of hip hop. When you hear Chuck D you go "Holy crap, THAT'S CHUCK D!" There's no mistaking it. And, unlike other acts, these guys are more about the message than the money. I miss songs that actually had more to do with social problems and the current state of affairs of the world than just money, cash and hoe's. Time for hip-hop to re-evolve. Sorry, for the rant, but after you see Public Enemy perform with the Beasties and then Anthrax, it's hard not to get fired up.

October 13, 200422 yr Flav can't be bothered with a new PE album. He's too busy shagging Bridgette Neilson on the Surreal World. Yikes.

Just because you don't hear it on the radio doesn't mean it's not there. Listen to people/groups like: Talib Kweli Mos Def Blackstar Slug Aesop Rock Common Etc., etc.
