This tagging and tracking could be used for: ? People or groups such as enemy leaders or sympathizers, nuclear weapons or explosives experts, and terrorist paymasters. ? Things such as weapons of mass destruction, materials or components, precision machinery, pharmaceutical plants, specialized instruments, pathogens and seed stocks or vehicles. ? Activities such as recruiting, financial transactions, Internet activity, pathogen genome sequencing or organizational activity or meeting. Any predictions on how long we have to go before 1984 becomes our reality? I say around the time my generation is in retirement mode.

I'll give up some rights to protect America, but this is going to far. They will know your body by DNA. The government is going to track all of us. Sickening.
October 15, 200422 yr Here is a hypo for some of you: Lets say a company sells a certain device. Its a tiny tracking device that can be implanted in people. The device is sold to parents for being placed in their children. If their child ever goes missing, they can contact the company and the transmitter will be activated alerting the police to the location. It is said that when a child goes missing, the first few hours or so are the most vital to finding the child. Clearly it isnt unconstitutional as it has nothing to do with a government actor and it would be the choice of the parent who buy it. Wouldnt be obligatory. It could also possibley be used to by parents to track the location of their children. Should it be illegal?

The only way you should allow for it is if the child goes missing and the family files a missing persons report, thus giving the police the capability to use the transmitter and find where the child is.
