October 30, 200422 yr Wasn't sure if this was posted yet.... Anyone see this coming? CNN and as a columnist put it: How all of this will shake out among the American electorate remains to be seen. Perhaps the American people, upon seeing a healthy bin Laden again on their televisions, will be reminded of Bush's failure to capture or kill him and punish Bush at the polls. Perhaps they will be angered that bin Laden dared to throw his two bloody cents into the political conversation and side with Bush over Kerry. Perhaps the only absolute conclusion to draw from all this is the one that almost certainly occurred to every American who tuned into the broadcast. The bastard is still alive. truthout.org
October 30, 200422 yr Bush has already been using it. Kerry learned about it late afternoon and immediatley stated a non partisan response. But Bush later attacked Kerry because Kerry, earlier in the day and before he learned about it, attacked Bush on letting him get away. Of course Bush's attack was that Kerry needs to stop attacks when things like this come out. But Kerry hasnt attacked Bush on this since he learned of the tape. How amazing that this comes out just in time to stop the bleeding. Throw this in the barrel with the Homeland security alerts. Plausible deniablity protects them from any truth.

Indeed, Kerry seems to have done another flip-flop here. The Admin King Live transcripts from 2001 have Kerry praising the Tora Bora approach and execution and specifically mentioning that the use of Afghan fighters would help keep US casualties down. If the republicans are smart - they'll get the LKL tapes and do a devastating ad using them. 604226[/snapback] Nope, sorry. They stopped the flipflopper campaign. Right after the first debate actually. Now Kerry is consistently a liberal.
