Good Wannstedt Article

fine article. wannsteadt always did have that loser personality - his face was always in that aw-geez-what-happened-to-us-now expression that you NEVER see from bill parcells, brian billick, mike shanahan, marvin lewis etc. i actually gave him some cred in 2000-1, when he got division titles out of an exceptionally mediocre team (the 'fins defense has always been overrated) - but after the late-2002 collapse - missing the playoffs when we appeared to have a really legit team - it became clear that he wasn't the guy to lead the 'fins over the hump. why we kept him around after 2003 defies logic.

Great article. I've hated Wanny since he took our 2002 team which would have won 12-14 games under any other head coach and ran us into 9-7. Also, when the team had the two 11-5 years that was a product of Jimmy's work. In the years following 2001 he got rid of many of the parts that made the team overachieve. The subpar OL that led Lamar Freakin' Thomas to a 1200 yard 15 TD season (same guy who couldn't be a 2nd stringer on most teams).
