November 16, 200421 yr It's going to come out sometime during October 2005. Hope it's a little faster than 2001. I haven't seen the other movie made in the '80's but I heard it bombed. Loved the books.
November 16, 200421 yr I haven't seen the other movie made in the '80's but I heard it bombed. "2010" wasn't bad at all, it was just different in style (more "mainstream") than Kubrick's original. Funny, but I don't believe they ever made 2061: Odyssey Three into a movie. Why would they skip it and go ahead with the fourth book instead? Wouldn't that affect the continuity of the films (assuming they care about such details at all)?
