These have been adjusted for park factors so that's why batter stats are too high and pitchers too low/high. Not for playing time so it's hard to get a read on how the Marlins on a whole would do. November 22, 200421 yr No saves for anyone? Damn, I guess that's a good thing for the offense. :mischief

November 22, 200421 yr Those pitching predictions are a joke. How does Benitez go from having his best season ever in his career to his worst? Mota with a mid 3 ERA? You can say it's adjusted for the park factor but then why are the starters' ERA fairly consistent if not generous. The offensive stats seem to be on par although Luis will do much better than what it says there as far as stealing bases is concerned as well JP. If Willingham came come close to that power, then LoDuca should be out the door. Not like it's final but that a good estimate of LoDuca's contributions next season .280 9 hrs...with below average D, if anyone thinks that's worth 6 - 8 million you're insane. Now that Guillen is out of the question, I think we can benefit offensively by letting LoDuca go and with that money getting hold of JD Drew for a bit more.
November 22, 200421 yr These are just predictions people. Nobody takes this as the Bible. 619854 Well they're pretty horrible predictions. The Marlins have completely cut ties with Billy Koch and Ramon Castro, yet both of them are on there. Someone obviously didn't do much research when putting that list together.

The Marlins have completely cut ties with Billy Koch and Ramon Castro, yet both of them are on there. Someone obviously didn't do much research when putting that list together. 619899 This time, I'm ordering them by local ID on my DMB disk, since that gives the order I've created players in, thus keeping organizations very loosely grouped together. As usual, there are scattered fringe players that are no longer with the organization they're grouped with.

November 23, 200421 yr Author Those pitching predictions are a joke. 619826 Read the bolded section. These are park-adjusted. All Marlins batters will not do as well as projected. All Marlins pitchers will post better numbers. The opposite for Rockies.

All Marlins pitchers will post better numbers. It's as consistent with regard to pitching.
November 23, 200421 yr Author Perhaps you should click the link I provided. Benitezs and Mota lose points for being past their primes. And their career performances are factored into this. Benitez has had some less-than-spectacular years while Mota's career ERA is 3.42 mostly in pitcher-friendly parks.
