I just got home from the 5th annual Big 5 Classic held in the most renowned College Basetball arena in America...the Palestra. It was Penn-La Salle, Nova-Temple and St. Joe's-Drexel. Once again a great job by all teams involved especially Temple for beating those spoiled brats from Villanova. Imagine your high school gymnasium split in half for two city teams right on top of the court. Your seat doesnt have a back and if you move your elbow too much you elbow the guy in front or behind you. There was so much atmosphere with simultaneous bands and let's go Temple/Nova chants. Lemme just say if any of you get up to Philly...go to a game at the Palestra and tell me that you didnt have fun. The attendance was 6,000 but it was 6,000 screaming people rooting on their university.

Always a real competitive tournament...bet it was fun.
