Recommend some pitchers for the Marlins

Also take Matt Clement off your list, I hear he's about to agree with the Indians 3-year deal worth 18-20 million.

That's too bad. I thought Clement would have been a very good deal for us, too. Former Marlin (we seem to be targeting them these days) and I think a bargain. He pitches like he did last year at JRS, he wins 15 games.

Plus, anytime the Cubs give up on a player, you should go after him. :p

And Marlins2003, good call on Yan. He would be a very interesting guy to bring in here - could close, set up. Electric arm from what I remember. And cheap. Having Wiley in here as coach may help his career too.

Another name gone.....

FOXSports.com is reporting that the Twins and Brad Radke have agreed to terms on a two-year, $18 million contract.

It looks like GM Terry Ryan got serious at the last minutes. Radke could have gotten at least $27 million over three years from another team, but since he only may want to pitch two more years, this works fine.

Interesting idea...Mecir...

Mantei is gone (see thread), so there goes my idea. I wonder if we are talking with Yan by any chance...
