This site could use a MLB Ticker

Featured Replies

Admin should add a ticker at the top of the banner or in the dark upper right hand corner of the screen. The ticker would be kind of like the one on ESPN and would have all the scores in the MLB constantly updates.

Yeah I've seen it on a lot of sites. It's cool I guess. I don't think it's so needed though because were all pretty much Marlin fans here. We all really only care about the same team. So we don't neccessarily need to know what's going on in all the games. And you could always check for yourself anyways. But it's up to you, do whatever you want.

Why wouldn't we want to know what's going on in the rest of the Majors?

Come on, humor me.

I retract my opinion.

lol jk :p

I never even gave my opinion.

I said on the one hand we should get it because it's cool and a lot of other sites have it.

And on the other hand we don't need it because were all mostly marlin fans and we don't case so much about all the other games. And you could always check for yourself.

So don't go saying that I said we shouldn't have it. Because I never said I think we shouldn't have it.

Id say the majority of the people here are Marlins fans. But the minority fans are growing.

I directly questioned your "And on the other hand we don't need it because were all mostly marlin fans and we don't case so much about all the other games." statement. As fans of the Marlins, it is necessary for one to know what is happening in the rest of the league so as to see how they are doing as compared to others, and how they stand in the playoff hunt.

Yeah, you have a point.

Make the ticker!

I'd say go for it so long as...

a). it's fairly autonomous (saving Admin from having to spend time keeping it updated)

b). doesn't include ads or anything else like that.
