You are so wrong.....Look at all these pro bowlers....their Defense will be the best of anyone in the NFC Playoffs and their offense will be up there even without TO.

Watch out for Billy McMullen

Isnt every year supposed to be the Iggles year?

Jeremiah Trotter makes it in over Nick Barnett, what a crock of BS....(Dan Morgan also got in, but he actually deserved it)

Trotters Stats: 58 tackles, 1 sack, 9 tackles for loss of yardage, 0 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 0 interceptions, 1 pass defensed

Morgan's Stats: 82 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss of yardage, 1 forced fumble, 0 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions, and 6 passes defensed.

Barnett's Stats: 104 tackles, 3 sacks, 6 tackles for loss of yardage, 0 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 1 interception, 6 passes defensed

Trotter got in because he plays for Philly. If Barnett was with the Eagles he'd be mentioned in the same breath as Brian Urlacher and Company, who Barnett by the way has better stats then as well.

Urlacher's Stats: 71 tackles, 5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss of yardage, 0 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 1 interception, 7 passes defensed.

Barnett not making it over Trotter was easily the biggest screw over of this years Pro Bowl.

Vick beating out Favre was also an atrocity. Vick flat out sucks as a passer. And if Vick couldn't run like a running back he wouldn't even be in the league.

Also how did Vikings CB Antoine Winfield not make it? Another screw up. Jevon Kearse also deserved to get in more then Patrick Kerney IMO. And how Ahman Green gets in with worse numbers then Brian Westbrook and Clinton Portis perplexes me to no end. Roethlisberger also got screwed, but having to choose between him, Manning, Brady and Brees and eliminating one is really tough.

Again, Green and Marco Rivera didn't desereve Pro Bowl births. Trotter definitely didn't with only 58 tackles compared to Barnett's 104. And Vick got in because he's ESPN's all time favorite player.

Looking at Barnett's stats in comparison to Trotter and Dan Morgan (the 2 who made the pro bowl ahead of him) CLEARLY indicates that Barnett was much, much more deserving of going to the Pro Bowl then either of them.

Favre, Barnett, Walker, and Henderson were the only Packers I thought even came close to deserving Pro Bowl status (even being alternates)

I felt that no other player on the Packers deserved to be even an alternate outside of those 4.

But Barnett clearly got screwed. And Favre got screwed almost as bad losing out to Michael Vick who if he couldn't run like he does wouldn't even be in the league.

Homer huh? Thats why I said Antoine Winfield (a Viking) and Brian Urlacher (a Bear) both got snubbed. And if I'm such a homer how come I said that Ahman Green has NO BUSINESS being in the Pro Bowl because of his "performance" (or lack there of) this season when Brian Westbrook (an Eagle) was far and away better then him and Clinton Portis also had a better season then Green.

I'm just saying the numbers don't lie, Barnett got royally screwed.

Ok sorry didnt see that, you are right about Barnett, but not about Favre, he had been overrated for the past 4-6 years.

Redskins only got Marcus Washington in.

I think Sean Taylor was an outstanding FS.

Good for Drew Brees on getting in. Personally I think Corey Dillon should have gotten in in place of Edgerrin James.

The Eagles have a good enough group of players to make it all the way to the NFC championship game, but they won't win. :whistle

I didn't care about anyone getting in except for Barnett who of course gets screwed over for some overrated washup who wears an Eagle on his helmet and another LB who if we wasn't always hurt would be one of the best in the NFL.

But Barnett's numbers don't lie. He has been the only person on our defense who deserved any kind of Pro Bowl Caliber recognition. And just like Suggs getting DROY last year over Barnett, Barnett gets screwed a 2nd time in a row.

Barnett bothers me. He's got to do some goofy dance everytime he makes a tackle. Jeez dude, get back in the huddle and quit showboating.

Barnett's only done that for the last 2-3 games, and the only reason he's done it is because 1 hour before the Eagles game 3 weeks ago, the phone in the Visting Coaches Office at Lincoln Financial Field (in Philly) rang, Sherman picked it up and it was Barnett's mom who was calling to tell Nick that his Dad had just died of prostate cancer.

So Nick has been a little hyper active lately because he is commemorating his father. I'll give him a pass for that.

But if keeps doing it into next year, then I'll get a little annoyed. But his stats are still far better then any other MLB in the NFC.

I don't care about the Pro bowl as far as the game goes. What I care about is that the proper individuals are recognized for their seasons as individuals and don't get voted in because they play on ESPN's favorite team (Trotter) or because they are ESPN's favorite player (Vick) or because they've been to 3-4 Pro Bowls before and are some of the biggest names at their positions in the last 10 years (Ahman Green)

Players should be put into the Pro Bowl for merits based off of their performance for the season. And neither Trotter, Vick, or Green deserved to go. Meanwhile players like Westbrook, Barnett, Kearse, etc all deserved to go even more.

I think Sean Taylor was an outstanding FS.
