January 3, 200521 yr I just heard on the news that due to competition and steadily declining profits, Blockbuster has adopted a new policy which completely eliminates late fee's in an attempt to bring customers back. But, and i'm sure you were waiting to hear a "but." There is a catch that they don't tell you about though, if you rent a movie and it's due back on a certain day, they'll give you a 1 week free grace period to return it and after 1 week they'll bill you for the cost of the movie, so basically instead of being able to keep a movie for 5 days or something, you can now keep them for a week and 5 days.
