January 9, 200521 yr smart move by 560 i guess, sterns leaving in a year so they might as well move on to the next morning show obviously me and any other stern fan wont like this, but im not mad at WQAM about it
January 9, 200521 yr definitely find it all interesting on one hand they can milk his ratings and a ton of money for a year however, if they could pass up on 1 year of $$$, it would be wise for any non NY affiliate to drop the show that keeps him locked into broadcast radio in only the NY market preventing an early move to sirius it also allows local affiliates a year to try out replacements and get people comfortable w/them, which in the end could skirt sirius sales and provide more long term stability instead they keep creating more buzz for when stern leaves for sattelite, right in time for the christmas rush wonder how many sirius receivers will be under the tree next year?
