July 12, 200322 yr ...That Mike Lowell seems to ALWAYS hit a HR to break out of a slump? Or when he's in a slump, his only hits seem to be HR's? I think it's all getting to him. He thinks that now he's expected to always hit HR's. Because of that, it seems that he's always swinging for the fences instead of just trying to make contact. When he went up to the plate, his plan was just to make contact and get a hit. The HR's were just coming. Now that he can't explain it, he's tying to just hit HR's, and he can't. Mikey, just go up and look to get a hit. Those big leaue flies will come, so just go take your hacks!
