I'd be surprised if it was his idea to write this letter. Pleasently surprised.

holly rules.

nice ad, too, though i get the feeling he wrote it with the marlins' PR team. it was a nice gesture nonetheless.

He obviously didn't write that by himself. It's perfectly written like a press release.

As much as Holly rocks she'd never know about it without one special user.

Damn I wished I was in FL right now I want a copy of that.... But I doubted carlos's personality at first but I was dead wrong. After his press confrence and now this letter, I think he is a great guy and I really hope we get the stadium deal done.

I'm the exact same way, I didn't think he had a good personality but it appears he does...

...I'm eating a heaping pile of crow.

I love that you all are willing to give him credit, but if the Marlins PR dept didnt write this, then someone in his agents office did. I give him credit for signing it....and it is a great move by whomever thought of it. The Marlins management is trying to jumpstart ticket sales...thats all this is....

Delgado isn't a bad guy. He's really not, but thinking hes behind this ad gives him way too much credit.

Oh, I'm completely aware HE didn't write this. You can tell. But he obviously read and signed it, he's willing to put his name to this, which shows he truly believes in these things and is interested in getting out into the community.
