I haven't heard that but they did a remake to that "Word Up" song or whatever. My God, worst crap ever.

Korn Guitarist Quits And Finds Jesus

 

23 Feb 2005 Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch has left the nu-metal band to dedicate his life to Jesus.

 

According to MTV, the band's management have stated that:

 

"Korn has parted ways with guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, who has chosen Jesus Christ as his savoir, and will be dedicating his musical pursuits to that end."

 

A statement from the band reads as follows:

 

"Korn respects Brian's wishes, and hopes he finds the happiness he's searching for."

 

A statement from Head reads:

 

"I'm good friends with Korn. I love those guys, and they love me, and they're very happy for me."

In other news, I heard Blink182 broke up. :thumbup

Blink 182 broke up? Not surprising since they have been fading little by little. I like them though.

 

I love Korn. I also love their cover of "One".

The One cover isn't bad because it's the same genre. It's not the original but it's decent, even though I don't like the whole raspy voice added to One. It sounds better when Hetfield sings it smooth.

 

But what I don't get is if you are going to just completely stink up a song, can't you stay in your genre and can't you stay away from all time greats. There's no way Another Brick In The Wall is going to come out on a remake better than the original, so why bother?
