What exactly is a Split Squad game?

 

 

Does anyone know which side the Marlins Bullpen/Dugout is on? 3rd or 1st base side? (RDS)

 

What section is the Marlins bullpen by? I looked on the Stadium site but it didnt show (RDS)

    Split squad is when only part of the team plays, because the other half is playing a game either at the same time or later that day. They just do that to get everyone some more playing time
