Hi guys,

Just curious, my husband and I were trying to figure out why Mota didn't stay in for at least another inning.

 

I am still trying to learn all about the strategies, but this one - i can't figure out. Howcome he only pitched one inning? Why didn't he stay in longer?

 

Don't know if this would've changed the outcome, but........

 

Hoping you experts that have so much more knowledge can shed some light on this for me.

Because he was pinch hit for in the 9th.

 

Jack hoped Aguila would end it.

He would have hit after Paul Lo Duca because the Marlins pulled a double switch

 

now you're really confused..

That Lo Duca hit should have been a homer.....so.....close....... :banghead
