I voted for "fla baseball fans suck". I don't think the location is an issue. We live in Coral Springs and have no problem jumping on the turnpike to the stadium....the drive is not that bad at all. Unfortunately, I think that S. FLa in general is a lousy sports town---the panthers, heat (only if they are doing good). I don't know why we have such a problem supporting our teams here. Another thing- i hope most of you don't jump all over me for saying this ...but for our family personally...i am not happy about the new location for the proposed new stadium. Once it moves to downtown Miami it will be much harder for us to go to games this far away with the traffic. I want the Marlins to get a new stadium but that is a hike for us up here in NW Broward. I don't have another solution but that's our feeling here. Just my $.02

Quick question for season ticket holders......I know you are able to get the giveaways if you miss one. Can someone tell me how to do that? Do I just go to the Season tix holder desk at gate G and ask for one? What else do I need to show besides my ticket? Thanks

Hi all, just wanted to share a couple of pictures from the Paul LoDuca signing at the Coral Square. Sorry, had to block out my son......hubby doesn't like photos of our kids out there. Just want to say for the ladies out there he is so DAMN good looking in person....especially now since he shaved that goatee!!! HE was very nice to both of my kids. He also signed my 3 year olds Billy the Marlins autograph book!! I was a little disappointed in the crowd there was hardly anyone there. today was a tough decision the Alex and Luis signing or LoDuca.....we picked LoDuca cause it was closer and we do have Alex's autograph already. Anyhow here's a couple of pics. Enjoy!! We'll be at the game tonight!

Is anyone going to the LoDuca signing at the Coral Square this weekend? I am taking my son. I really wanted to go to the Alex and Luis signing but I already have Alex's autograph. What do you think is better to have signed...ball, photo or card?

GREAT!! I live in Coral Springs, but will really have to decide. Alex is one of my faves so I have to plan ahead. By the way the Coral Square Mall is in Coral Springs on the corner of Atlantic and University. They have sports card shows the end of every month and usually have signings. We went to the Lowell one there last season. There was not many people at all!!!! Do you guys think it's crazy to pay for all these? So far I have actually paid for only Lowell and Cabrera. Lowell is one of my faves and my son worships Cabrera so I did it. I do have Alex's autograph already but not by itself. It's on a ball with some others. This could get to be real expensive and my husband thinks it's crazy to pay for them. For the Cabrera signing I did not mind at all because we had him autograph one of his own foul balls that we caught at a game. That is something worth paying for. Anyhow...... I'll be at at least one of these if not all!! Hollyberry, I got my Lowell one at Pro Player, I have only seen them at the stadium. Also try calling some sports stores in your area if they have them. If you ever go to Roger Dean, they may have them also. I am going to the game on Wednesday and will see if they have them. maybe some booths will do mail order. Good luck finding them!

My son and I sat there once, it was AMAZING! You get to watch the marlins batting practice inside. We got pix with some players and got some autographs. You are literally right there and the players walk right by! it was GREAT and you will have an awesome time!! I am jealous!! Lots of opportunities for balls and autographs. We got pix and autographs from Hee Sop, Alex, Matt Treanor, Ben Howard, and Manzanillo that day and other great up close pix. Have a GREAT time and please tell us all about it after you go!

Sorry but this guy is getting pathetic as the games progress. I support him and all but this is a team issue. Just by watching yesterday's game he seemed so desperate at each AB. Especially the last one. Best thing that should be done is move Cabrera to 3B and put Conine out in LF. Conine as you know is a much better player if started daily then he is on the bench. Jack should experiment and try this out. See how it works out. Because for now Lowell isn't doing us any good with his fly-out and so on. Just my opinion. HI all, I know I posted this earlier about the Mike Lowell show - but I just heard another commercial for it today and now they said it was Fridays at 2 pm. Not sure where the confusion is, because the other day they advertised it for Friday at 3 pm. It's during the Boog show so now I am not sure exactly what the hell time they are doing it. I don't know why they are advertising two different times for this - so just a heads up...If you are interested you may want to put it on at 2 instead of 3. Hope this helps. IF anyone hears anything different or gets the correct time, please let us know.

They were really nice and I have to say Mota was GREAT!! Miguel too, but he doesn't speak much english. We've met other players before but so far, they were the nicest. Maybe because we were paying!! Hi guys, Just curious, my husband and I were trying to figure out why Mota didn't stay in for at least another inning. I am still trying to learn all about the strategies, but this one - i can't figure out. Howcome he only pitched one inning? Why didn't he stay in longer? Don't know if this would've changed the outcome, but........ Hoping you experts that have so much more knowledge can shed some light on this for me. Thanks :mischief2

Hi all, Just got back from the Cabrera and Mota autograph signing. Thanks so much to whoever posted about this. You made my son's day (year and life!). We had a foul ball that Cabrera hit last year and were dying to get it signed. It was really crowded at the beginning, but not terrible. I think it was better to go at the end no one was really there. I pre purchased a ticket, but honestly didn't see the advantage in that. Mota was soo nice to my son and he even remembered him (how shy and nervous he was) when we went back later on to get Miguel's autograph. It was an expensive day but worth it. I'll try and post pics later if anyone is interested. We'll be at the game tomorrow. Thanks again to the poster of this signing!
