What are the chances that they take it all this year. I mean, I know it's all about pitching, so do they have a good rotation this year? World Series or not?

We have a great rotation, which includes Josh Beckett, Al Leiter, A.J. Burnett, Dontrelle Willis, and Ismail Valdez/Brian Mohler. Beckett is on fire, SO FAR, with a 2-0 record, 0.00 ERA, and I believe 17(?) K's. Dontrelle is doing good too, with a 1-0 record and a complete game under his belt. Our defense is arguably the best in baseball, with Luis Castillo and Alex Gonzalez up the middle, and Mike Lowell and Carlos Delgado on the corners of the infield. Our only question mark is in left field, where Miguel Cabrera is. He has made a few errors there, and I am becoming uncomfortable with him there. But, it is still early in the season, and he can still prove to me that he can catch a ball. Now the offense. With Juan Pierre and Luis Castillo batting 1 and 2, you have great speed and contact at the top. Then, Miguel Cabrera, Carlos Delgado, and Mike Lowell, who are as good of 3-4-5 hitters as anyone else. Then, Paul LoDuca bats with good contact, decent, but certainly not average power. Juan Encarnacion and Alex Gonzalex can be really good or really bad. Juan has two grand slams this year, and it seems as if he may have a breakout year. Alex shows he has power, but still needs to raise his average to a more respectable number.

All in all, I feel we have an extremely competitive team, although our record does not show it so far. I think we can win the World Series, if we can just work as a team, and not get greedy and worry about stats.

honestly wait a few more games. the hitting hasnt convinced me. being hot one game and cold the next isnt consistant.

pitching can only go so far w/o support.
