Old School

Featured Replies

So today I decided to dig out some old games I really liked. Wing Commander IV and Tie Fighter. Amusingly, they were so old, I needed to search for patches so they would my computer could run them. I needed to find a patch for both so they would run on XP. And in Wing Commander, I also needed to download a patch so that it would recognize joysticks through a USB port. Still, it was more than worth it. These are some of the few games that can withstand the test of time.

Great games.

Master of Orion (the original) pwned all of you.

Might try Bochs. there's another x86 simulation out there aimed specifically at games too that is faster than Bochs who's name escapes me at the moment. I gave up on that one since the development crew has no interest in fixing bugs. The Bochs crew will fix bugs.
