Late Night Ridiculous...

Does anybody else find it ridiculous that we had to wait until approximately 12:30 am before they finally called the game with the Phillies...especially when we have a 1:30 pm start tomorrow??

 

I understand that it was on 2-1 & the Phillies obviously wanted a chance to complete the game, but enough is enough.

 

Is this a judgment call by the umpires only or do the Phillies have a say? Since they're the home team, I'm guessing they can wait as long as they want, but I just found it stupid to keep our players at the ballpark when they obviously weren't going to get the game in....just not right...

 

Sorry, needed to vent....hopefully this wasn't brought up in another topic...

I don't know why they couldn't have just looked at the forecast and saw that it would not let up so they could have called the game right then and there without the ridiculous wait.
