Awsome PPV. I noticed Bman had done a quick recap of the PPV so I'll just tell you my experiance there. In a word, amazing. The atmosphere was electric. We had a lot of crazy chants which I will tell you about, although I don't know if the PPV picked up all of them. I was about 12 rows back from the ring, so I was quite close with really good seats. To be honest, I don't know how we got the seats we did. We paid for $75 seats and got $175 seats. You may have seen me depending on where the camera went. I was in the row behind the spanish announce team near the outside of the aisle. There was a ninja behind me holding up a Hatchet Man sign. Anyhow, on to the PPV.

 

Val Venis VS Tomko

 

Enjoyable match. A few "We Want Hogan" chants.

 

Jericho VS Shelton

 

The crowd flat out didn't like shelton. They were behind Jericho all the way. When Jericho got Shelton into the Walls Of Jericho, I started up a "Tap Out" chant. The crowd really wanted Shelton to lose.

 

Tag Team Whatever the hell it's called

 

Hurricane and Rosie won the Tag Team Titles and the crowd was behind them completely. Best win possible for that match. Although, I crowd did enjoy the Heart Throbs. I'm assuming one of them was from a local indy fed because my section started chanting WFA and Let's Go Promise.

 

Benoit VS Edge

 

You know who the crowd was for without even seeing the show. They hated Edge. Some memorable chants were "We Want Matt" "You Screwed Matt" and my favorite one of the match "You Screwed Lita!"

 

Lita/Kane Promo

 

Ok, I need someone to tell me if they heard any chants during this promo because the WWE cranked up the volume of the promo in the arena louder than any other to drown out our chants. Of course, there were the usual "You Screwed Matt" and "We Want Matt" chants, but I managed to start up a good on that I'm sure they drowned out. If they didn't let me know. I got the crowd chanting "Dirty Slut!"

 

Chris Masters Promo

 

My section started up a really tiny chant, probably not heard, that went "We want Luger." He beat up and made fun of a buff woman he kept calling things like "sir."

 

Kane VS Viscera

 

I was rooting for Viscera simply because Kane was alligned with Lita. Kane, of course, won. Amusing moment, after Viscera lost and slammed Trish unconcious onto the mat, I got my area chanting "Get Some Lovin'!" I hope that could be heard of the broadcast, but probably not were it was just one area.

 

HBK & Hogan VS Devari and Hassan

 

Ok, seriously, my throat hurts, I can't talk or hear very well at all because of that one match. The crowd, myself included, went insane for Hogan. The only oddball chant during the whole match was when one of the HBK chants died down and me and Rick got my section chanting "Devari's Gay!" I will tell you this right now though. No matter what you think of Hogan, there is nothing in the world like seeing him live. It's insane. He is much more intense in person.

 

Christian Promo

 

I think it's safe to say that he's going face. Most of the crowd cheered him and he didn't make fun of the town. Yes, I admit it, I am one of his peeps.

 

Triple H VS Batista

 

Good match. The crowd didn't seem into it as much but damnit, they had to follow Hogan. And there wasn't even a cool down match in between. Yes, Christian was there cool down the crowd, but that wasn't long enough. There needed to be a cool down match for the crowd to get into this one more. It's not that we didn't want to, we were just too tired. Amusing note, a couple people, myself included, started chanting "You're Not Hogan" when Triple H came out.

 

After it went off the air

 

As Triple H is leaving the ring, the crowd starts doing the whole Nananana song. He comes back down and grabs a mic and says, "That's the thing about New Hampire. It's a great place to live, but the people are a**holes!" The then slammed the mic down and left. Overall, though, the PPV was a blast and I'm glad I went. Hopefully, I will have pictures soon.

Dude, it was a complete blast.

I was at a Nitro once when Russo was in charge....it was actually when DDP won the title.....it was during the New Blood vs. Millionaire's Club. When Hogan was fighting Mike Awesome, it was just something in the air that made me (and the rest of the crowd) chant for Hogan. And I wasn't even that big of a fan of the guy. I wish I was in one of these WWE crowds when Hogan came out.

I was the King of the Ring when Hogan faced Angle. There's simply nothing like it.

 

I've been to several shows when Rock and Austin will in full boar of their major runs and it still doesn't compare.

 

When Hogan tapped, the arena died. DIED.
