PBMarlin
So far this year the Marlins are hitting .304 with Runners In Scoring Position. Leading the way is Encarnacion (.519), followed by Cabrera (.382), Gonzalez (.364), Castillo (.357) and LoDuca (.357). Starters hitting below the team average are Delgado (.261), Pierre (.190), and Lowell (.160). What a nice surprise to see Inky and Gonzo doing so well. It seems the starters are separated into two groups...those who are doing well above what is expected and those who are well below. Not much middle ground here. FishFan24
That's encouraging :thumbup Besides, I don't think we'll see Mikey, Carlos and JP continue to struggle like this with runner in scoring position. Mikey is already starting to come out of his funk and its only a matter of time before Carlos and JP start to rack up those RBI's. Only a matter of time... rferry
Unfortunetly there's been a problem of getting on base and into scoring position often and consistently. Feast or famine offense.
