Jeff Bagwell - 1B - HOU

Jeff Bagwell will undergo surgery early next month and miss three months.

If there was a surgery with this period of rehab that would have done any good, why didn't Bagwell have it in the offseason one of the last couple of years? It looks like Bagwell will try to make it back in September, but if the Astros aren't in the race, he's probably done for the year. Mike Lamb might spend the rest of the season as Houston's first baseman versus right-handers. May. 15 - 8:28 pm et
