You tell me who gets pissed off in from of all the fans and breaks his bat against the batting cage! I was just saying maybe not that I think but why the attitude from the forum. Jeeze!

No it was not smack just wondering since most of you guys are from Miami area maybe you know whats going on with him on the field. He is a great guy my fav player just wonder whats up with him.

On Friday night the Marlins stayed at the Hilton in Arlington. Cabrera signed my car full of stuff everything from 2 batting helmets one of them was game used from when he played with Uthica he even inscribed everything putting game used and date he used it. Game used hat from 2003 that he put game used 2003 ws champs on. He signed 5 8x10 pictures. Took 2 different pictures with me. Oh yeah he signed a batting helmet I painted to look like a Venezuelan flag. All this in the hotel lobby. Cabrera gave me the ultimate fan experience. Then.... The whole team went over to Manhattans which is a night club next to the Hilton and he signed even more stuff for me over there. (2 programs from when he played with Uthica, 8x10 Photo, 2 6/20/2003 ticket stubs) I was telling him that I was a huge fan and that I would prob. not see him again until the go to Denver which I plan on going. The whole time he was signing he was talking to me like he knew me. Total in that night I got 2 batting helmets, 1 game used hat, 6 photos, 2 programs, and 2 first game ticket stubs. all by Cabrera! The autographs were awesome to all in cursive you could read almost every letter in his name. He also asked me what number do you want me to put 20 or 24. Oh yeah it was funny he saw the hat that was game used from 2003 and made a joke saying "maybe I need to wear the hat for this season." I will post all the pics when I get them downloaded. I also took pics with Hermida, Jacobs, Willis, Hanely, Abercrombie. I blew all the pics up to 8x10's and only Willis and Hermida signed their pics. Willis was like I just took this with you yesterday in Frisco you blew it up that fast. Whole team is very approachable.

I wanted to post this topic to see if I was the only one seeing this. I am from Fort Worth, Texas so my first look at the Marlins was this past Friday and Saturday. During BP Cabrera walks around and does the streches half a*s it is almost embarassing to watch him out there. Then during BP he was batting fine during his first round of BP then when his second turn came up he hit like 3 balls then broke his bat on the cage and walked off the field saying F-this and F-that. I hate to say this but he is showing signs that he might either be on steroids or he will never be able to be a leader on this team. Really sucks to see this because he is my favorite player. I just cant figure out why he is acting like he does. I try to follow marlins as best as I can last year I went to Phili, Tampa Bay, Miami, Houston, San Fran and in all these places he did the same thing walking around during streches or act like he is doing them. Sometimes it is actually funny because he will be talking so much he does not even realize they have changed streches. I know he has a natural ability but still baseball is a team sport. Also on a change of subject this team looked bad against Texas seriously both games they looked like boys among men. Rangers were hitting homeruns one after another then turning double plays one after another. Vargas looked BAD! He could not even make a routine out at first when Jacobs flipped him the ball he dropped it. I really hope this is not a preview of the season I am a fan for life and I will support them regardless. Watching Cabrera hit that Grand Slam was nice though!

I will be going to the March 31st and April 1st against the Texas Rangers when they come here to Frisco and Arlington. A group of use are camping out at the Frisco Stadium. When they play Texas at the Ballpark in Arlington on April 1st I got tickets right behind batters box 1st row. I also got tickets first row 3rd base side next to Cabrera at third. When Marlins bat I am going to sit next to the batters box and when they are on the field I am going to go watch from the 3rd base side. Hopefully Venezuela will lose out quick so Cabrera can get back to spring training and play in the games. Not that I dont want to see Cabrera and Venezuela win the WBC I would just rather see him in person being from Texas really hard unless I drive to Houston. I usually go once or twice a year to a national league stadium to watch him play. I am very excited!

I still say San Antonio. If they donot move to Vegas I really do not think we need another team in the North East? Please god dont move down to Mexico!!! So if the Marlins do move to Vegas will they stay in the NL East or will they go to the West?

Great Job Miggy! Actually there is alot of talent in Venezuela I am almost certain that his competition was better than Ivan Rodriguez, Jason Bay, Carlos Lee Even though Pudge did turn up the gear in the later rounds.

I will support this organization where ever they move. Its not the town I am cheering for it is the team no matter where they play. Why not San Antonio that would be nice! I know they are not even talking about SA but hell they are trying to get a pro football team why not get a baseball team as well they have the spurs and the town supports the hell out of them.

I personally will be Cheering for Miguel to take the Venezuelan team to the championship! It will be interesting seeing them play for opposite teams I hope we get to see D-Train pitch to Cabs. Also is anybody going to try and make it to any games.
