June 5, 200521 yr I read in one of the forums posted on June 4 that Vargas tore up High A and has been promoted to Carolina????? My source has not been informed of that yet....if so GREAT news.....another lefty as a starter and this can only help the Mudcats catch West Tenn and then pass them as the front runner in their division with only a dozen + games left in the first half.....

June 6, 200521 yr Sloooooooooooooooow down. I would have liked to see him finish the season at Carolina, not go there halfway through. Rushing him may do more harm than good if he runs into trouble against AA hitting.
