Posted June 17, 200519 yr According to the announcer from WGN in Wednesday's game, Miguel Cabrera has hit only 11 home runs in his entire career so far. It's funny when the announcers make such mistakes. This is my first post, BTW. www.floridamarlins.com Underneath the current-week schedule is the video clip of the botched commentary. I watched Sportscenter sometime last week, and the anchorwoman stated "Four hurricanes pounded South Florida last year..." The punchline that followed had something to do with Ricky Williams/Dolphins if I remember correctly. I thought only 2 (or 3, if you count Charley and Lee/Charlotte) nailed the SOUTH part of Florida last year? Thought you guys might get a rise out of this.
June 17, 200519 yr Charley hit Lee and Charlotte Counties. Frances and Jeanne landed in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard Counties.
