Chone Figgins and JP

Featured Replies

Juan Pierre and Angels speedster Chone Figgins are close friends who came up together in the Rockies organization.

Figgins patterns much of his game after Pierre. The two watched Game 4 of the NBA Finals together on Thursday, and they planned on going out to dinner Saturday night.

The two leadoff hitters even share the same introduction song when they come to bat.

"I asked him what song he was going to come out to," Pierre asked Figgins prior to Friday's game. "He said, 'What you come out to.'"

The song is "We Ready" by Archie Eversole, a fan favorite when Pierre comes to bat in Miami.

itd be nice if figgins is traded over here.
