July 17, 200520 yr He made the All-Star team as a Panther in January 2003. All-Star game was being held in Sunrise. Then the All-Star break comes, & a couple days before the game they trade him away to Anaheim. Absolutely classless move. Go Mike Keenan! :plain Bizarrely he had to play for the Eastern conference team even though he was now officially on a team in the West. He didn't even compete in the skills competition the day before because he felt uncomfortable about the whole thing. 859370[/snapback] Oh I now I get, I remeber when that hapended I was pretty pissed off when they did that :mad . Cause I was looking forward to seeing Sandis play as a panther I even voted for him.
July 17, 200520 yr Lets just say that whatever players we sign will be better than the players we have had the past 4 years.
July 17, 200520 yr Florida Panthers Player 2005-2006 salary (US) 2005-2006 salary with 24% rollback (US) Sean Hill $2 million $1.52 million Mathieu Biron $1.4 million $1.064 million Branislav Mezei $1.35 million $1.026 million Nathan Horton $1.24 million $942,400 Alexander Karpovtsev $1 million $760,000 Eric Cairns $775,000 $589,000 Jamie McLennan $675,000 $513,000 7 Players $6,414,000 FREE AGENTS: Restricted Free Agents: Olli Jokinen, Christian Berglund, Jay Bouwmeester, Niklas Hagman, Darcy Hordichuk, Kristian Huselius, Joel Kwiatkowski, Juraj Kolnik, Roberto Luongo, Mike Van Ryn, Filip Novak, Stephen Weiss. Unrestricted Free Agents: Lyle Odelein, Donald Audette, Eric Messier, David Morriset, Mikael Samuelsson, Steve Shields, Pavel Trnka. This is from TSN As for restricted free agents I say resign Jokinen, Bouwmeester, Hordichuk, Loungo, VAn Ryn, Novak, Kolnik and Wiess. I wouldnt mind trading away Huselius because he is a huge under achiever. Hagman can go with him. We have a bunch of pansy Euro fowards and the remaing roster spots should be filled with some bigger bodies.

He absolutely abhors european talent who can't score and Novak seems to be an injury bust prospect. I expect Biron to be bought out.

I think we need a much bigger team, so that they will be atleast enteraining to watch. Anyways with Biron, he is not worth the money, but for this season would you rather have him for 1 million or not have him for 1 million?

I just read a list of key dates July 23 the 6 day window begins buy out players, resign players, exersise club options and sign draft picks. July 30 is the draft Aug 1 free agent signing begins.
