i was up in new hampshire yesterday to watch my cousin pitch in front of a scout from the marlins...i think his name was alex forenstein or something like that...but he said he was really impressed by jeff locke and and plans on making an offseason visit and he will show off his championship ring...i got the chance to talk some marlins baseball with him and i got the feeling that he thinks the marlins are going to try to young and save as much money as possible...that was just my impression...but he talked alot about vargas and his similar pitching style to my cousin but also how much that scott olsen looks like my cousin...he also talked some about hermida and andino...so in the next week or so i guess we will find out how things will go down

pretty cool, lets hope you cousin gets in!

amen to that...i got him to be using the marlins on mvp baseball 05...and thats a start for someone who lives in the heart of red saux country
