July 31, 200521 yr I'm not quite sure if it means would you trade Vargas for Redman, or would you rather start Vargas or Redman, but in either case, I think I'd rather have Vargas right now. Especially considering how Redman pitched against the Braves last night.
July 31, 200521 yr I won't go into a lengthy comment here because I've posted several times about Mark Redman returning to the Fish. In my estimation he's not a winner (in the sense he doesn't go out there and find ways to win ballgames), and is not a good fit with often low-scoring Fish. I voted for Vargas over Redman. I hope the FO does the same.
July 31, 200521 yr Here's Redman's line in July...it's ugly to say the least. 35 innings, 6 appearances, W/L 1-5, ERA 6.94, ave inn/start 5 2/3.
