So I was at the game tonight and Matt Doherty threw out the first pitch, didn't think much of it until right before the game started he comes and sits down in front of me behind the dugout, I was in row 2 and he was in row 1 just about 2 or 3 seats to the left. So that was pretty cool, but then I guess Stan Van Gundy was sitting in the Batters Box where he usually sits and saw Matt Doherty was at the game, so he came up around the 2nd inning and sat directly in front of me as well! It was fricken awesome, him and Doherty were chatting it up for about 4 innings, they talked about all sorts of intricate basketball strategies that I didn't understand, then they talked about technique in throwing out a good first pitch to make sure you don't bounce the ball to home plate :lol .

 

When Stan got up to go back to his regular seats, I said "Hey Stan, good luck this season" and he said "Thanks"... it was pretty cool .

 

I had a good time, except for Valerio De Los Perisho. That was SO Marlins.

Sad, but true

yeah tonights game was a heartbreaker...plus the 3 foul balls that came right down the line to me but some little prick NY kid kept getting in the way and still missing them.

 

Before the game Dougherty was standing front of me on the field and I kept thinking to myself that bastard looks familiar who the hell is he and then he finally gets announced, forgot he moved to FAU.
