Walk-Off Homer Trivia

Featured Replies

This question is inspired by Ramon Castro's walk-off homerun yesterday: Who was the first Marlin to hit a walk-off homerun?

I seem to remember it being a guy who wasn't a home run hitter, in 94 or 95...can't remember...

I guess Chuckie Carr or Quilvio Veras

mk7, you got it, it was Chuck Carr. It happened on August 9, 1994 against St. Louis. Tied at 3-3 in the 9th, Chuckie hit a two-run home run off Vincente Palacios.

i thought it woulda been sweet if he had gotten a HR in the 12th inning last nite (I think that was when he was up)

I'm hoping Juan Pierre does that one of these days!

:D :D :D :D :D

You know, I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING last night...that's weird...and I've never thought about Pierre even hitting a homer...

in most parks, Juan Pierre has 2 homers atleast this year....

remember that game in Chicago with the wind blowing in?

JP crushed 2 balls to RF and both landed at the wall/warning track
