Picture 30 looks impressive.

I'd like to see how hurricane proof those windows actually are when they're actually tested. We had a non hurricane proof window with now shutters and it survived, barely.

Pretty cool to have hurricane proof windows.

Neighbors of mine just had hurricane proof windows installed and they are amazing. Their dog was barking inside and we couldn't hear it....only saw it's mouth moving.

Now on the flip side I understand firemen are not able to break through hurricane proof windows to rescue people in the event of fires and people would not be able to break their windows to escape.

It's a quandry...fire safety vs. hurricane safety.

I had a window break even with hurricane shutters on. I want to upgrade my windows but may elect something in the middle.....perhaps double pane thermal glass, and still use the hurricane shutters.

We don't have hurricane proof window on all of our glass. That gives us an easy fire escape route.
